Fake Montana Framed Picture
Another ridiculous item by eBay seller awesomeitems247. This seller is the one that adds a frame via Photoshop to fake autographed pictures and sells framed items for usually around $14.95. This Joe Montana autograph is as fake as they get. No Montana Hologram, doesn't say where it was signed. I know Joe Montana's agent and it costs way more than $14.95 just for Joe's signature. Even a cheap frame at Costco is around $7-8 bucks. Just look at the sellers other items and you will realize that NO ONE could have that much signed stuff from so many high profile celebrities.
Can you see how the frame was inserted by a computer program? How this person is still selling on ebay blows my mind. When you look at their other items they have signed pictures from Lucille Ball, Brad Pitt, THE CAST OF FRIENDS (see below), Pacino & Brando dual signed pictures, Christopher Reeve signed pictures, Princess Di, and it just gets worse.
Horrible!

If he/she doesn't have the stock as you say, cause of the high costs of getting the photo, the frame for $7-8 bucks then how is this seller able to ship and why does he/she have so many positive feedbacks on Ebay?
I just don't understand.
Obviously the seller shipped the stuff to get the positive feedbacks to so many buyers, no?
Why are you targetting some sellers and others no?
I bought 2 gold coins 3 months ago and never received anything, I spent $760.00 and Pay Pal, Ebay and the Police never even apologized nor offered anything as far as compensation?
The entire Ebay system is very dangerous in my opinion, but I was just curious as to why you were after those few people that you highlighted?
And what do you think people like my self can do to avoid be ripped off?
TIA
Hello thanks for your question. We are finding random items on ebay that we know are questionable and exposing them. It is very possible to have tons of positive feedback while selling fake items, because if the buyers knew they were fake they wouldn't bid on it. They just think they are getting a great deal on something. If you have ever had a bad experience with someone on ebay let us know. The best way to not get screwed on ebay is to buy from well known companies, make sure they post a phone number that you can reach them at and always pay with a credit card so you can dispute the transaction if the seller doesn't deliver. Thank you!
"This amazing auction is for a beautiful copy of an originally handsigned photo." This is what it says in all of his auctions.. if people are bidding on his items and not reading the TOS then complain after, i have no sympathy for.....
This Joe Montana autograph is a real as it gets.
I'm comparing it two Joe signed for me in front of me, back in July of 2001 in Hershey Pennsylvania at the Pennsylvania Big 33 Football Classic.
Stop putting down other sellers as YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW a fake just by looking at it, do you?
By putting down your peers, you are causing you very own customers to build suspicion about even your own items.
You should be worrying about yourselves first and leaving the others on their own.
WHO CERTIFIED as you guys as the autograph police?
You are surely falesly some of selling fakes when they infact are not.
Autographs from many people evolve over time.
You can do that too, wisely, with your company's focus.
God Bless.

Thank you for your comment:
1. We have seen Joe sign THOUSANDS of autographs in front of us, not a few so we know what his autograph looks like.
2. We do not base our opinion solely on the scan of the autograph. There are many factors including the COA, the hologram, and the other items the seller is offering.
3. These people are not our "peers" as they do not contract with these athletes to obtain autographs. I would challenge this seller to send me a copy of his contract with Joe Montana.
4. ALL Joe Montana autographs should have the Montana hologram or the Triumph hologram as Joe offers these to people who actually contract with and pay him for autographs.
5. We are not the autograph police, we are just trying to help out potential bidders. If the seller has proof of the signing we would gladly post this and revise our opinion.
Thanks again!
