Signed 1996 Mantle Card?

Here is another one. The seller is usedmart on eBay and the auction has already been cancelled.


The seller is offering a 1996 card "signed" by Mantle!

Mr. Mantle passed away August 13, 1995.

Unfortunately, the people should be reading this web site, and my comments, aren't. Aside from the obvious about this, if you really want to own a authentic autograph of a superstar athlete, whether it be a Mickey Mantle, Michael Jordan, Peyton Manning, Derek Jeter, Willie Mays, etc., then you better be ready to invest real money. Sure, you can spend your $40.00 "Monopoly" money on a autographed helemt. Just before I wrote this comment, I counted no less than 65 fake Peyton Manning autographed helmets on Ebay and many others of his brother Eli and father Archie. Look out for all the fake Michael Jordan and LeBron James autographed jerseys and basketballs. You want a real Jordan or LeBron James autograph. Buy UDA. What I'm saying is, if it sounds to good to be true, then it is. If you bought a dual-autographed Michael Jordan/LeBron James autographed basketball and it isn't UDA, then I would go outside and shoot a few hoops with it. Because that's all it's good for. Buy authentic from legitimate companies. It's a true investment and collectible.
