Fake Jerry Rice Football

This is probably one of the worst Jerry Rice signatures we have seen.
To think that people sit in their garage and sign footballs like this is insane.
The ball is being offered on eBay by sportsmemorabilia30.
Thanks to one of our loyal readers for this tip. Here is a real Jerry Rice football:

Be prepared! now that Jerry Rice has retired i'm sure the forgers are lining up to flood the market with these bogus autos. It's amazing that people still do not protect themselves against these crooks. It worth the investment to have items authenticated especially by PSA.
Another seller on Ebay called "Celeberd" was selling a similar fake Jerry Rice autographed football that I submitted to PSA/DNA's "Quick Opinion," and, of course, it came back as fake. Seller "Celeberd" was selling all kinds of fake crap that people were bidding on and buying. I submiited a bunch of his fake stuff to "Quick Opinion" and they all came back as "fake." It's amazing that people actually bid and buy fake autographs like this. The buyers are just as much at fault as are the sellers. They allow it to continue.
CHRIS WILLIAMS IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING SUED FOR SLANDER HE HAS SCREWED WITH ONE TOO MANY PEOPLE
Imagine that, I've pissed off people who are selling fake autograph items. That breaks my heart. Secondly, I have personally spent well over $500.00 in PSA/DNA "Quick Opinion" reports to back up anything that I've written. How many of you collectors read auctions where the seller claims to attend between 50-100 shows per year. Or they claim to be traveling all over the country to events to acquire autograph on items like footballs, helmets, bats, baseballs, etc. Now consider this: How the heck does anyone, while they are traveling and in transit, haul all of those autograph items? What do they do, drive around in a 18-Wheeler? Between buying tickets for the games or events, buying the items, hotel expenses, travel expenses, etc, they then put the item up on Ebay for such a low amount. Someone explain to me how it works logistically , physically and logically? Some of these guys put up 100's of items at a time and they have a infinite supply of autographed memorabilia from athletes like Derek Jeter, Arod, etc. without having a contract with them. I want you, the people who buy this stuff, to explain to me how you think they do it.
chris williams has no clue how to get an autograph chris williams is a poumpas ass
both you guys are idiots!!!!you first selling fake stuff.are you serious rice signed that ball.no come on even tho some players sign a little different when signing "free"autographs for fans that dont sign anything that looks that fu%$^*d up!and this chris williams guy must work for all authentic because he rights something about everybody fake scams.both of you need to get a life and for the fake dealer instead of getting a life you might just get 25-life if you keep selling 2 yearold signed autographs.you could at least try a little harder on the penmenship or your might just violate your parole
First of all, I do not work for All-Authentic. Secondly, I don't think anyone (except me and a few others) realizes how huge the fake autograph memorabilia business is. Millions of people now own millions of pieces of fake autographed memorabilia. Finally, that person tells me to "get a life." Well I enjoy doing this stuff. I enjoy finding these bad sellers; I enjoy connecting the dots and discovering rings of sellers on Ebay that work together. I could go on and on but I have a few bad sellers to look into today.
chris williams ought to leave iowa get a real job with a company like psa and maybe his boss will be the king of forgers "zach rullo" who was forced outta the business but now authenticates somehow!!!and then chris should try to get a piece of ass!
CHRIS YOU REALLY THINK YOUR DOING SO TYPE OF GOOD WORK OR SOMETHING BY FINDING EBAY SELLERS THAT SELL FAKE AUTO'S?DO YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE PROBLEM?HAVE YOU STOPPED THE SELL OF FAKES ON EBAY?ALL OUR DOING IS WASTING MONEY ON PSA TESTS.FORGERS WILL FORGE,SELLERS WILL SELL AND BUYERS WILL BUY AND THERES NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO CHANGE THAT NO MATTER HOW MANY TESTS YOU SUBMIT TO THE SO CALLED EXPERTS AT PSA.THE BUYERS ARE IDIOTS!ALL OF THEM!THE PROBLEM WILL NEVER CHANGE ON EBAY UNLESS THE BAN THE SALE OF ALL AUTOGRAPHS.I THINK THAT EBAY SHOULD ONLY ALLOW STEINER,TRI-STAR AND UDA ITEMS TO BE SOLD ON EBAY.PSA,GLOBAL,ONLINE COA ETC. ITEMS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED ON EBAY AS WELL.ANY FORGER WITH A LITTLE EXPERENICE CAN SLIP STUFF THROUGH PSA.TRUST ME I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT THAT THEY HAVE AUTHENTICATED SERVAL FAKES.EBAY SHOULD ALSO MAKE SELLERS WHO WISH TO SELL AUTOGRAPHS FILL OUT A APPLACATION KINDA LIKE YOU WOULD FOR A JOB.HAVE A CRIMINAL BACKROUND CHECK DONE AND ISSUE THEM SOME TYPE OF PERMIT TO SELL LOADED WITH RESTRICTIONS.WOULD EBAY DO ALL THIS AND LOSS MILLIONS ON MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN THE SALE OF FAKE AUTOGRPAHS?NO THEY WOULDNT.FOR EVERY OPERATION YOU UNCOVER CHRIS AND GET SHUTDOWN THAT SELLER WILL BACK BACK ON THE BLOCK A MONTH OR 2 LATER DOING THE SAME THING.THEY DONT STOP UNTIL THE GO TO PRISON AND THERE HASNT BE VERY MANY PUBLIC ARREST'S REPORTED IN THE LAST 2 YEARS
the problem is.,is that chris has never collected on the street and has no clue how he should keep wasting his pay checks on psa quick opinions and see how much that gets him done...chris you dont really have a clue what your talking about! i wish more that 12 people a year would look at this blog so that they too would realize that you are an ass! "work some ot that way you will afford some more quick opinions" because x-mas is comming and when you only make $5.00 an hour writing for a newspaper that no one reads in iowa (and by the way where is iowa? is that a real city in the us, i never herd of it, no graphs to get there i know that)its gonna be hard.
Dear Mr Anonymous,
Funny how all these "people" are "Anonymous." All of you are in for a big surprise soon. By the way, I live in the great state of New Jersey. By the way, do you mean "collect on the street," or, "doing your autographs in your living room?" Also, I'm sure many have heard of the Paul McCartney signing on Oct 3rd for his new book. Only 125 people were allowed the priviledge of getting his autograph and most of them stood in line for 22 hours to get it. Every item that I submitted to "Quick Opinion" for Mr Anonymous came back as "Likely Not Genuine." This includes all of his sports items and his Paul McCartney signed book.
Phoney autograph sellers have pride to i see... Does Chris make a difference??? Well you losers he must because i am reading what he types and Chris should do like i advise others to do. Talk to all the sellers prior customers on ebay and give them the phone numbers they need to prosecute the creeps. You idiots think all ended with operation bullpen? How stupid and naive can you be? Agent Fitzsimmons still wants to hear about bogus autographs. You are the scum that flood the market with your garbage. You are the ones who hire forgers who take great pride in thier work.Get rich while you can slimeballs because you will wind up just like Mr.Fitzgerald, with nothing.
Chris, one thing to keep in mind, some of us do get 1000's of items signed every year!
The way it works is we take the athletes to the shows to sign for the public, while there, we complete the difference between what the public purchased, and what we contracted for, on our own items.
You said "do these guys drive 18 wheelers, how do they get the stuff home?"
The answer to that is easy, we ship it to ourselves from the shows.
A lot of what you say is true, about some sellers, but there are legitimate sellers out there as well. And....yes legitimate guys can and do have a seemingly endless supply!
We can also get guys that are under contract with someone else in a couple of ways. We can approach the party they are under contract with and buy or barter for pieces, or we can purchase the ability to take them to a public show directly from the holder of the contract.
Chris, I think you're on the right track! That said, you may be spinning your wheels. You are definitely fighting an up hill battle, but I admire you for fighting the good fight. I can't think of any other cliche's, but you get the idea!
