Fake AROD Ball
This auction was sent to us by Joe, who is only 15 years old and an avid sports memorabilia collector!
He noticed how bad this Alex Rodriguez signed baseball was and sent us an email. He is right. This eBay seller says that they are "cleaning out some stuff laying around" -- our advice is to take this stuff straight to the trash, don't put it up for someone to buy on eBay!
Our hope is that more people become like Joe. At only 15 years old, he knows what a real AROD signature should look like. If we can educate people before they buy things on eBay, the fraud would drop tremendously.

Although this obviously fake Alex Rodriguez autogrpahed baseball went for only $10.50 it still amazes me that people continue to bid on garbage like this. But then again, the buyer of that fake autographed baseball could be one of those buyers who knows it is a fake and will attempt to resell for a hefty profit. Kudos to Joe for noticing this obvius fake. One more point: On Ebay I am noticing that when one of those buyers purchase an obvious an fake like the Alex Rodriguez baseball and then resell it for a profit, and then they are confronted about the baseball being a fake, their excuse is "Well I bought from someone else on Ebay and it comes with a COA, talk to them." Incredible!
yeah I am only in high school but have been collecting memorabilia since my dad and uncle got me into it when I was 7. i know what looks bad. if anyone needs advice on tennis autographs, let me know. People sell fake Andy roddicks; some are stupid enough to sign out his whole name when one is lucky if roddick does the Andy and the R. I really enjoy this blog and i hope more people come across it.
This is the absolute worst AROD autograph I have ever seen in my life! LoL
WOW! My son of 11 could of done better than that. Please remember folks, 90% of online autographs are FAKE! ONLY buy certified pack-pulled autographs.
