This guy is either playing dumb...he actually thinks the sigs are real, or he was caught once by eBay selling fakes and has decided to fully disclose the original eBay seller (fansindastands) who is a notorious dealer of fakes. I will guess that he is just a guy trying to make some money and really thinks the stuff he sell is real. I would bet that he gets offended of you question the authenticity of his items. He is just one problem created by a bigger problem. Sadly, this type of seller is the WORST ONE becasue he keeps the pockets at the top of the food chain fat.
Bigtruck is absolutely right on this one. I have no doubt the seller (bronteandcalypso) of this obvious forged Derek Jeter autographed bat knows exactly what he sold. Although he readily admits he bought it from seller "Fansindastands," whom we know sells forged autograph items, it makes him no less responsible for selling a fake autograph item. I believe he discovered he bought a fake, and rather than confronting the seller of the fake, "Fansindastands," he pawned it off on someone else, but that makes him no different than "Fansindastands." It also brings me back to my observations of the many sellers at card shows who buy cheap fake autographs on Ebay and then sell them at 3-5 times their purchase price. Just a few days ago seller "Fansindastands" sold 8 fake Albert Pujols items and we did notify The Pujols Family Foundation about him and numerous other sellers of fake Albert Pujols items......Chris
Awhile back someone asked a question about seller "sportscards2k6" and their Ryan Howard autographs and it's something I've been looking into. Here's what I found. It would semm to me that sellers "sportscards2k6" and "sportscardsetc2007" are the same person. Check and compare their auctions. I also submitted "Quick Opinions" on Ryan Howard autograph items fro0m both sellers (Item Numbers 280061095284 and 270069896375) and they both came back as "Likely Not Genuine." I also submitted a "Quick Opinion" on a Peyton Manning autographed mini-helmet (Item Number 270069601057) and it came back as "Likely Not Genuine." I then got hold of a company that sells authentic Ryan Howard autograph items and asked them to look at the Ryan Howard autograph items of those two sellers. I am still waiting to hear back from them. That company sells authentic Ryan Howard autograph items in the $250-$450 range while the autograph items of Ryan Howard from the aforementioned sellers is $99.00. I also found it interesting that those two sellers purchase many of their autograph items (like the Peyton Manning autographed mini-helmet) from seller "Authentic-Graph2.".........Chris
EBAY SELLER "FANINDASTANDS" TOLD ME THEY HAD A PRIVATE SIGNING WITH DEREK JETER... IN HIS BASEMENT... THEN HE SAID I COULD MAIL MY ITEM TO HIM TO HAVE JETER SIGN AND HE COULD HAVE IT BACK TO ME IN A WEEK? IS IT A GOOD DEAL?? $50 FOR HIM TO SIGN A BASEBALL???
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I hope you dont think this guy is serious. Jeter only signs for Steiner Sports for $500 a pop.
If seller "Fansindastands" had a private signing with Derek Jeter, then he must have had a private signing with Albert Pujols also because he actually sells more fakes of Albert Pujols than he does of Derek Jeter. Yeah right. By the way, we have notified The Pujols Family Foundation of all the fakes of Albert Pujols that "Fansindastands" has been selling on Ebay and we also notified Steiner Sports of all his Jeter fakes he's been selling......Chris
isn't that a shame? somebody spent what, $270 for those? even if the damon ball is authentic, $270 is a lot of money for that. and the seller probably bought those jeter's for $50 each from fansindastands. it's also a coincidence that the seller and fansindastands both live in maryland. i would keep an eye on that seller and see how much they sell. they say they are selling a collection, so we might be seeing a fansindastands partner in the making.
A "new" seller (really an old bad seller who has resurfaced) with the Ebay ID of "great-dealzz" is selling a ton of forged team-signed items. Check out Item Numbers 280065034502, 280065033785, and 280065034703. Those are just a few of their fake autograph items......Chris
I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW "AUTHENTIC-GRAPH""AUTHENTIC-GRAPH2"AND "AUTHENTIC-GRAPH 3"HAVE A ENDLESS SUPPLY OF THERE PRODUCTS.IM EXTREMLY CONCERNED ABOUT THEM BECAUSE I HAVE NOTICED MANY AUTHENTIC LOOKING SIGNATURES FOR ATHLETES MAINLY ON FOOTBALLS REAL CHEAP BUT THEN THE SAME AUCTION HAS BEEN RELISTED FOR OVER A YEAR.WITHOUT BUYING INTO A SIGNING YOU COULDNT HAVE THAT MUCH ON THE SAME ITEM.I THINK THEY JUST THE BAIT AND SWITCH POSTING GOOD SIGS AND THEN DELIVERING BAD ONES
You criticize us because we care? That's very shallow of you. I am a memorabila dealer? No, I am a collector. Why do I care? Because it isn't right that hundreds of sellers on Ebay are allowed to sell forged autograph items on a daily basis. You call me obsessed because I spend an hour or so each day looking for crooks on Ebay because I care. If I saw you being robbed across the street I would run over to help you because I would care that a innocent human being is being harmed no matter how shallow you might be. The crooks count on all of us not to care, but since most of the crooks comunicate with each other they know we are watching and it makes a difference whether you want to believe it or not. Most recently "Americansportscollectibles," a seller of over 2500 forged autographed footballs is now "Unregistered." Seller "Sportscardsetc2007" is now "Unregistered" and his twin "Sportscards2k6" is no longer selling autograph items. Seller "Jdaddy05" is now gone. Seller "rsmizel" is now gone and a dozen more over the past month. Seller "baseballdome" is now. We care and we make a difference......Chris
I get paid zero. Here's the deal...
I am a Cardinals collector, and have been for many years. Every time I do an eBay search on Pujols or Cardinals with "signed" after it, I discovered that 90% of the items were fake, especially team signed stuff and Pujols single signed baseballs.
I do not search eBay 24/7, I only post here when I can contribute something valid - always an opinion. I am not an expert, but I can certainly tell which Cardinals autographs are fakes and which ones are real. I can also identify sellers of fakes by the long list of star sigs that they sell...and the many multiples that would only be possible if they were part of a paid signing.
Anyone who thinks I am wasting my time can think that...I just got fed up with the fact that there are so many fakes, I waste my time sifting through them to get to the real ones - that is the TRUE wast of time.
Most of the sigs are so bad that I do not need PSA, etc. to tell me that they are fakes. Chris uses the service to document fakes and to get a second opinion for his investigations. I am a big supporter of what he is doing because I have noticed that many of the sellers (jdaddy05, rsmizel, baseballdome, streetsigned - etc.) are either banned from eBay or no longer in the business of selling fake Cardinals memorabilia. I t makes my searching MUCH easier. He has put a dent in the Jeter fake auto market as well.
Whether you like what we post here or not, deal with it...
I have this strange feeling that some of these posters are sellers who have googled their names and discovered that a few people out there have been discussing them. If that is the case...good, the system works. And we are not going away.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I hope you dont think this guy is serious. Jeter only signs for Steiner Sports for $500 a pop.
HE MUST HAVE FORGOT TO CHARGE ME WHEN I GOT HIM IN PERSON LAST YEAR. YOU HAVE ZERO CLUE WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT. PLEASE KILL YOURSELF.
Hey guys, check out the really horrible fakes from seller "crackedbat." In paticular check out this forged Detroit Tigers team-signed baseball (Item Number 150075019321). It's very obvious all of the autographs were done by the same person......Chris

if you knew what you were talking about, you would know he meant jeter does exclusive signings for steiner. he's not going to do a private signing in some random guys basement. that doesn't mean he'd charge you in person.
Hey guys, and old "bad seller" has resurfaced on Ebay with the ID of "Prestigesigs." As of this moment they have up 14 forged Albert Pujols autograph items that I forwarded to The Pujols Family Foundation. Seller "Prestigesigs" went to Yahoo auctions for awhile but came back on Ebay to sell their fakes autograph items again. What puzzles me is that Ebay didn't flag him based on his Ebay history of selling fake autogrpah items.....Chris
Check out these two sellers, "tguagh620" and "markl6952". Both have some pretty suspicious Jeter and Pujols cards for sale. And both are buying the same items from eachother. "tguagh620" only has a few sales (one to the other guy) and "markl6952" has nearly 100 sales and one was to "tguagh620". Both items they bought from eachother are the exact same Pujols card. Looks like "markl6952" has two names and is trying to do some shady bidding on his own fakes. "markl6952" is also buying items from "fansindastands", and those auctions are private so I couldn't see what they were. I reported both to ebay.
Seller "Prestigesigs" that I mentioned previously removed all of his fake Jeter and Pujols autograph auctions after I emailed him last night. Interesting....Chris
I appreciate what you all are doing. I have been tracking fake autographs on the internet for years. Another place besides ebays where fakes are getting sold is Coachs Corner sports auctions. There website is www.myccsa.com. They advertise with Sports Collectors Digest every week. Alot of the items Ive seen from current and HOF'ers are fake. They seem to get alot of "consignments" that are fake, but put them up for auctionn anyway. I still believe that it is an inside job and that they are just throwing in real with the bad. There Ruth and Gehrig sigs sell for unbelievable prices compared to other auction houses. Check out the search, and look for Pujols, McGwire, Ripken, Griffey, Jeter and any other major star and you'll see what Im talking about. Let me know what you think..
I agree with the comment about Coach's Corner. I cannot believe that Tuff Stuff and SCD allow them to advertise. I saw a McGwire signature for sale from a guy once and I asked him about the COA - Coach's Corner. I knew it was fake based on the McGwire sigs that I have and the sigs on McGwire.com - he said it was STAT authentic...which is a joke too..
They do take many consignments. I also have concerns about the Miller Boys - they have a photo of themselves with a cut out of Ronald Regan freom the early 80's and advertise it as real. Any time someones sells stuff out of a magazine and there are no photos I am suspicious. However, there have never been any bad public statements about them - so ????
Be leery of Coach's Corner, just like you should be leery of GAI.
hi. I dont often comment but enjoy reading this blog. you mentioned GAI, I have seen recently a number of items that are complete fakes with GAI certs, are they starting to pass anything just for the fees? Whats the deal?
About GAI - not sure about them these days...used to be a legit company, but lately I have seen a lot of forgeries that they pass. I think it might be political (some dealers talk directly to Justin Priddy) this is what I have heard at shows. If a huy is "good for it", they let things slide. I am no longer convinced that they are a good compnay. I will buy stuff that they witness at signings...I have no probblem with that type of stuff. Usuall, I can tell if something is fake, but I like to have a third pary authenticate it just for financial reasons - items just bring more money with the third party authentication. I prefer to use Spence (JSA) for reasons mentioned earlier...but even they are incorrect sometimes. BE CAREFUL OF GAI.
Thanks for the responce. I really have noticed them passing a ton of fake Jeter signatures. Item 140038834081 for example. Thanks again.
Actually, that ball looks real to me, maybe Chris can help you out there...he is a Jeter guy.
That GAI Derek Jeter autographed baseball does contain some of the consistencies of Derek's autograph but it is borderline. But everyone knows my opinion of GAI based on many of the fake Derek Jeter autographs that GAI has authenticated. I used to email them about certain auctions where the authentication came from them and they would never give me a clear response. Then after awhile they refused to reply to my emaails. 99% of the Jeter autographs that I have seen that have been authenticated by GAI weren't even close and the other one percent were borderline. As for some of the suspicious advertisers in Tuff Stuff and SCD it is similiar to Ebay. Collectors think that because an autograph is on Ebay that it must be authentic; well the same goes for the magazines; they think because the publishers allow certain companies to advertise then their autograph items must be legitimate. But it is the same old thing; if the advertisers aren't selling autograph items from Jeter, Pujols, etc. that aren't UDA, Steiner, Tristar, MM, etc. then where are the thousands of autographs coming from? Just like no one "dares" to ask Ebay certain questions, who would "dare" to ask the publishers the same questions? We would!!!....Chris
I was checking the Derek Jeter autographs on that site and was stunned at what I saw. The bat and jersey are very, very suspicious.....Chris

WHY IS CHRIS NOW POSTING BLOGS UNDER ANONYMOUS AND NOT UNDER IS NAME?
Dear "Anonymous", ALLAuthentic has never been sued by Mr. Dickerson so your facts are wrong, if you could forward us the case number on this lawsuit we would be very intersted to see it. We have done several in person direct shows with Mr. Dickerson and we have never produced any "counterfeit" jerseys. A few years ago we had a contract to make Eric Dickerson's jersey with the Hall of Fame Players Association and the jersey was licensed by the HOFPA and approved by Mr. Dickerson. You need to get your facts straight before you get yourself in trouble making false claims IN WRITING. Also, if you would really like to gain the respect of people on this blog, stop posting anonymously and reveal your real name.
I always find it interesting that the people who have either been caught selling fakes, or are in question try to turn the tides and slander those that present REAL evidence.
Even so, this board is formed by the opinions of the one who post on it. It there is hard evidence, we can provide it...which is what really bothers the forgers out there...we can lead current and past customers on a virutal paper trail to the fakes that they are considering or already bought.
It pleases me that so many of the sellers out there that have been named in this blog have been banned by eBay or foced to quit because fo the pressure that has been applied.
The anonymous poster is probably one of those people.
NEVER PUT ANYTHING INTO WRITING ULNLESS YOU HAVE HARD EVIDENCE.
(we removed the previous post because it posted our comment under an anonymous name) You are absolutely right bigtruck. The thing is that while we do host this blog, you will rarely see us accuse anyone of anything -- we post items and let the readers decide. All of the hard research and detailed posts are written by loyal readers like you, Chris and others. We have been accused of paying you guys to write on this blog which is absurd. Also, every seller mentioned in this blog has the chance to respond since we don't require logins to post -- but you rarely see anyone respond to anything with a valid argument, just personal attacks. This blog is based on the opinions of tons of loyal readers who hate fake autographs and it has educated thousands of people (we get letters all the time) on how to spot fake autographs -- and the praisers shouldn't go to ALLAuthentic, we just provide the forum, this blog would be nothing without the loyal readers who put extremely valuable information up here every day.
For Mr. Anonymous who asked why I am posting under "Anonymous." It is because I am unable to login through my regular ID due to a flaw somewhere. But if you had noticed, I sign my name following each one of my posts. I do not and will not hide......Chris
I would like to echo the sentiments of All Authentic and Bigtruck. We don't get paid from anyone for what we (Bigtruck, BC, J-Man, TLM, Devin, Matt and others) do here. We take our time (and sometimes our own money) to perform these investigations. The fact is the "bad guys" underestimated us. Most of them figured we would quit reporting them or that we wouldn't even notice them, especially the "copy cat" bad sellers like "jdaddy05" and "rsmizel" who are now "Unregistered" on Ebay. Another seller of fake autograph items, seller "Simemorabilia" had their fake autograph items removed last night after I reported every one of his auctions to Ebay. One of fake autograph items was a St. Louis Cardinals team-signed baseball. Aside from the personal attacks against us, not one of those bad sellers has provided this blog an explanation about how they acquire their autograph items. Yes, we know they are fake, but if they aren't fake, then why don't they describe to us how they acquired their 30 autographed Peyton Manning mni-helmets, or their 30 Ryan Howard autographed bats and baseballs, etc, etc. They can't, and that's why they can only use personal attacks in an attempt to get us to stop. We provide a free service to those that read this blog. I would rather not write about this subject. I would much prefer to write about collecting in general. But unfortunately this is necessary. Not only would the bad guys like for me to go away but so would Ebay, but I harass the heck out of them until I see some type of action against those that I report. Ebay has been forced to take action because we demand it and it's the right thing to do. It's outrageous as it is that Ebay has profited a ton from the sales of fake autograph items on Ebay. They have got to do a better job of cleaning it up. They have a long way to to improve the situation, but until that happens we will continue to name those that we are 200% certain of selling forged autograph items. And although these bad sellers will continue to crop up via copy cat sellers or the resurfacing of "bad sellers," we will continue to name them in this blog when we find them.....Chris
allauthentic you point fingers at people in everything ivce read on here so dont get mad if someone calls you out.im not one of the people selling fakes in your blogs or this other guy on here making personal remarks towards you.all i posted was about dickerson.i was told that by 2 custom jersey dealers and found something on google.
are you gonna sue my ip address??
Hello "Anonymous", I am actually glad that you brought it up because if there are lies being spread about ALLAuthentic we would have never known unless you pointed them out. Thank you for doing that so we could post the truth for everyone to see on one of the most visible sports blogs on the Internet. On another note, you mentioned something about the Dickerson jersey post on this blog, what is your opinion of that jersey (remember it has Mitchell and Ness tags and other NFL markings on it) is it authentic or counterfeit?
Anonymous - would you please post the link of the place where you found the stuff about Allauthentic and the fake Dickserson Jersey? I would be interested in seeing it. I searched google and did not find it. Maybe I am seearching for the wrong thing. PS - In all of the time I have been here, I have visited the main site one time..just to verify that what Allauthentic sells is legit, and it is. FYI. This forum is the best place to ruin forgers and frauds.
you mean the white one???i used to have a account with M&N before the knocks hit the main stream hardcore.i have never saw nore heard of any white rams authetnic m&n jersey.you see these guys in asia are just producing without checking first.making these old pro bowl jerseys.
mitchell and ness is very active on ebay knocking listing all the time.there so tough the m&n knockoff guys started another jersey brand called "players of the century"its a spin off of mitchell but while it bears no m&n name it has nfl&team logos on it
here look at this item
290066384124
gale sayers knockoff jersey
direct from tri-star productions
everyone is more concerned about a signture being real so they buy from a trusted source right????i guess people really dont care about authetnic or knockoff when it comes to jerseys.it kinda makes sense, why would you buy a jersey at the mall for 250-300 that you can buy on ebay for 35 bucks that looks exactly the same that your gonna wear and get dirty
well im sure you guys have caused a lot of problems on ebay for the forgers and got them booted off.you should think about mixing it up a little more.it seems every other post is bout jeter fakes.sure theres enough to write a book about on him.im sure brandon would be very happy to know your targeting his exclusive athlete but mix it up somemore.i will send you some sellers that need the boot
GOOD - send us sellers to investigate...
As far as the Jeter comment, Look, most of the high profile forgers out there try Jeter and Pujols and Ortiz (David) because they are the biggest stars...and in Pujols case, apparently the easiest to forge. Chris is familiar with Jeter and I am a Pujols and Cardinals guy. By targeting the sellers who put out 50-100 Jeters and Pujols monthly, we are getting the big dogs first. As you know, the top of the food chain trickles down and creates othere sellers that have no idea that they are selling fakes (IE: fansindastands).
We also discuss the footballers - the Mannings and the Romos, and Ladanian...
Feel free to contribute and offer your opinions. Just try to remain positive so that we can be productive.
