Roger Clemens Signed Yankees Baseball?

The seller of this baseball states that it was signed in person by Roger Clemens. We are not very familiar with Roger's autograph so if anyone has any info please feel free to comment.

Looks very similar to his signature, but it's difficult to tell from far off. Plus its written in Charpy instead of with a pen. Looks close, but hard to tell.

You want to see a real piece of junk. Check out Ebay Item Number 300117108886 from Ebay Seller "Favoritessc." Check out the fake autographs on that ball of David Wright, Willie Randolph and the others. These were penned by the same person. Again, even though this Ebay Seller (Favoritessc) has sold fakes in the past Ebay allows him to continue selling his fakes. Look forward to my next comment after I had a frustratng conversation with Dan from Ebay.

The below "Quick Opinion" result is of an item being sold by Ebay Seller "Yeahandstuff." It was Ebay item Number 190117643006. That item was a horrible forgery of a Derek Jeter autographed baseball with a COA from "Phat Graphs." Now here's what's really incredible!!! The seller (Yeahandstuff) relisted the same forgery under Ebay Item Number 190118707085! That's how screwed up Ebay is! Why didn't they flag this seller? Why was he able to relist a fraudulent autograph item without it being flagged? Below is the "Quick Opinion" result from the first listing of this forgery by Ebay Seller "Yeahandstuff."

You’re Request for Item "Derek Jeter autographed baseball.” Ebay Item No. "190117643006", opinion was rendered at "5/31/2007 12:28:44 PM" and the result was:

Response: "Likely Not Genuine"

The story of this forged Derek Jeter autographed baseball continues. On Friday night (June 1st) I called Ebay about this item. I explained to Dan that this item failed “Quick Opinion” and that I had to beg Ebay to remove it even after it failed “Quick Opinion.” After Ebay removed it seller “Yeahandstuff” relisted it almost immediately. I informed Dan that the seller relisted an item that both failed “Quick Opinion” and that Ebay removed. I asked him why this item wasn’t flagged and removed immediately. He replied “that your report will be acted when received.” In other words, my report will be reviewed in the order that it is received. I even gave him the new Ebay Item number and he informed me that it would be reviewed within 24 hours. Well, as of this writing on June 3rd, that relisting of a Derek Jeter forgery is still an active auction. To say the least this has infuriated me and I told Dan in my own blunt words exactly that. I informed Dan that I was also infuriated at the fact that Ebay favors the bad sellers over the legitimate sellers. The truth is the Ebay website is rampant with fraud. It is a hotspot for copycat sellers who see how easy it is to sell forgeries on Ebay without penalty. It’s sad that collectors like me, Bigtruck and others pay for “Quick Opinion” reports when Ebay has access to that service. Ebay has basically given these bad sellers to sell fake autograph items. How does Ebay explain the fact that it took them over a year to boot seller “Americansportscollectibles” who ended selling over 2500 forged autographed footballs? Think about that, this is just a single “bad seller” that Ebay allowed to sell over 2500 fake autograph footballs before they took action. Please look forward to my next comment. Not only will I have more to write about this, but I will be listing many of the ex and present bad sellers. I will no longer hold my comments back about Ebay and their allowance of “bad sellers” to flood the collectibles with cheap, forged autograph items. Ebay wants me to go away. Well, Ebay, I will not be going away no matter how much your lack of action against "bad sellers" frustrates me.

Ebay Seller "magic*moments*" is once again selling more fake autograph items. Check out their Ebay item Numbers 160121351405 and 160121478406 just to name two. And they claim to be a hobby shop. Shame on them and Ebay. I already caught them attempting to sell a Albert Pujols badly forged autograph bat (it was taken done by Ebay after it failed "Quick Opinion"). Why does Ebay allow sellers like this to continue selling their fakes? Money!!! Here's the irony. I can be suspended for informing a bidder that they are bidding on a forgery, but that seller of a forged autograph item is allowed to commit fraud. Think about that. Shame on Ebay.

This Clemens ball could be genuine...it is close, but I agree with Wayne...Sharpies on baseballs make too fat of a line, and shakiness is not as noticeable from afar. I would also have to look at other items he is selling.

Sharpies end up being a better choice for non-reg balls like Macgregors...the sigs don't fade into the cover as quickly - just a note from a collector. I never collect things like this - the real treat/value is having a sig on an official baseball..

Hey guys, please check out the fake autograph items from Ebay Seller "Realgridiron." They used to sell fake autograph items under their previous Ebay ID "Cheryl34446." How in the heck does Ebay allow this seller to change their Ebay ID and then to allow them to sell fakes under their new Ebay ID? Can Ebay explain that one to us please. Check out their Ebay Item Numbers 260125596380 and 260125601055. As a matter of fact, this Ebay Seller "Realgridiron" has eight fake Daisuke Matsuzaka autographed baseballs, a few fake Derek Jeter autographed baseballs, a fake Arod autographed baseballs, etc. now listed on Ebay. Why wasn't this seller flagged by Ebay? Money?

Check out these two Ebay Item Numbers: 250125244855 and 250123654117 from Ebay Seller "mjk4143." Two horrible fakes. The fake autographed baseball of Jeter from this seller (mjk4143) comes with a COA from "Play-Ball." That tells the story right there. Shame on the seller and Ebay.

Below is a copy of an email I received from Ebay Seller "Realgridiron" who is selling all of these fake autographed baseballs:

I have already reported you for both your user names and the harassment that you keep doing to me. Ebay will be taking care of it so take care and have a good day.
Thank You

I guess I am suppose to be intimidated by her email.

1- The Clemens is a fake. It is done too slowly and you can tell by the top of the "C".

2- Lots of fake OBAMA autos on ebay! 230136606065, 160122187476 (kickbuttbooks must be on Obama's staff because he has 5 of him up every week! Only problem is thier all FAKE!), 230137544755, 160124101880, etc.!

3- Real Obama sigs: Nicksportsautographs 160124443461

Ebay Seller "Realgridiron" also listed 4, yes count them 4, fake Peyton Manning autographed mini-helmets. This is totally incredible that Ebay has allowed this seller to list such garbage after numerous complaints. Shame on both parties. And that forged autographed Derek Jeter baseball from seller "Yeahandstuff" is still an active listing even after they relisted after Ebay removed it for failing "Quick Opinion." It's all about the money folks! As for all of those "Obama" fakes on Ebay, they started months ago. Ebay seller "Allrealnice" sold a few "Obama" fake autograph items. Such is the norm on Ebay where fraudulent activity is at epidemic proportions and the bad guys know that for the post part, there is nothing to fear from Ebay. What percentage of Ebay's profits are directly from the sale of fraudulent items, forged autographs, etc? Think about that.

Ebay Seller "Redhorde74" continues to sell his forged autograph cards of Jeter and Pujols (Item Number 280122060306). His auctions always state "OBTAINED FROM A REPUTABLE PRIVATE COLLECTOR IN CLEVELAND." Amazing how that "private collector in Cleveland" seems to have an infinite supply of autographed Pujols and Jeter cards. Again my reports to Ebay are to no avail.

Interesting you mention the collector in Cleveland Chris. I was reading something a while back...maybe someone can assist with this one...

Something about a huge forgery ring coming out of Ohio. I may have read things on an auction house site...yup. I think it was RObert Edward auctions - about a number of bad items coming from Ohio - the SAME person?

Bigtruck, thanks for the link to that site. Interesting article. What I find infuriating is the fact that a powerhouse company like Ebay, who has the resources to combat fraud, looks at all of the garbage with a blind eye and allows tens of thousands of fraudulent autograph items to be sold on their webiste year after year. I am sure that number gets higher year after year because Ebay allows these "copy-cat bad sellers" to hop on the band wagon. These "copy-cat bad sellers" see how easy it is to get away with selling fake autograph on Ebay and Ebay really doesn't care since the sales of fake autograph items on their website means more income for them. Ebay claims they care about combating fraud but I have yet to see evidence of that "caring." When sellers like "favoritessc," "yeahandstuff," "ans_autographs," "2004senod2004," "dqbean252," "realgridiron," "sportsguy20000," etc. and others to continue selling fakes. Or ex-Ebay seller like "americansportscollectibles" who sold a few thousand autographed footballs. It took Ebay 18 months to boot that seller but in the meantime Ebay made tons of money from the sales of fake autographed footballs from seller "americansportscollectibles." Or ex_Ebay seller "Alwayz_rackin05" who sold dozens of forged autographed team-signed football helmets before Ebay booted him. Of course, before Ebay booted him they made a ton in fees from the sales of those $300.00-$600.00 fake autographed helmets. Or ex-Ebay seller "tripppn" who also sold numerous forged team-signed football helmets. These are just a few. Presently, I have complained numerous times about seller "realgridiron" who is selling very obvious fake autographed baseballs. I will compiling a list of all the bad sellers I have encountered on Ebay and will be putting that list here. This list will consist of "bad sellers" that Ebay made tons of money from the sales of fake autograph items.

Here's another irony from Ebay that just popped in my head. A buyer can be suspended from Ebay if they accumulate three "unpaid item strikes," but a "bad seller" can sell thousands of forgeries without fear of reprisal. How screwed up is that! I've become a much more active these days because Ebay has basically infuriated me due to their lack of action. Well, their lack of action simply makes me more active and vocal. To continually make profits from the sales of forgeries is beyond my comprehension for a major corporation. What happens if a real "Auction House" is caught selling forgeries? Well I would think they would have to buy them back and pay some kind of fine. What would happen if Ebay had to refund the money to every buyer on Ebay who purchased a forgery? They would go bankrupt, that's what would happen! Eventually someone big in the media will pick up on this and we will make waves. I am considering going to the NY Times with my 12 inches of documentation and seeing if they would want to run with this story. The NY Times is only 55 minutes drive from me. I'll be thinking about it.

Bob, I won't speak for the owner of this blog, but I will write that because of the work we do we were getting attacked personally by the "bad seller from Ebay." As bad as the "bad sellers" are we have never attacked them personally, but since they have no justification for what they are doing, they attack us personally. These "bad sellers" have always had the opportunity here to explain "how they acquire their autographs, etc." But they can't explain it since they are selling forgeries, so they attack us personally and I personally won't tolerate that, and I appreciate the owner of this blog taking that into consideration. If you have facts to present here then please feel free to so, but do not attack us good guys personally. Like I've always written, us good guys are more of a target then the "bad guys" and there is something seriously wrong with that. We are here trying to do something good and it can be very frustrating. Both the "bad guys" and Ebay want us to go away but we won't be going away any time soon. One day there will be an "Operation Bullpen 2" and I will be more than happy to give them every bit of data that I've accumulated over the years. Selling fake autographs is fraud. Fraud is a crime. There is no gray area, it is black and white.

I had previously written of a LeBron James fake (Ebay Item Number 200115426869) being sold by Ebay Seller "candace123." It, of course, was rejected by "Quick Opinion" and Ebay finally pulled it (Took Ebay two days to remove it). Well, I emailed seller "Candace123" about the fake Ladanian Tomlinson autographed jersey he was selling. I informed him that I'd be submitting it to "Quick Opinion" last night. Well, within two hours of that email he "ended this listing early to sell to the high bidder(s) at current bid price." By doing that he admitted to selling a fake because he knew that after it failed "Quick Opinion" Ebay would remove it. I wasn't going to submit it to "Quick Opinion" but I wanted to see if "candace123" would end his auction early and he did. He indicted himself.

I forgot to mention the Ebay Item Number in which Ebay Seller "Candace123" ended his listing early to avoid Ebay removing it. It is Ebay Item Number 200115146415. That fake LD Tomlinson autographed jersey sold for $300.00. He ended early because he knew it would be rejected by "Quick Opinion" and then removed by Ebay. Like I mentioned before he indicted himself.

It's really too bad that with my Ebay account I am limited to only saving "100 Favorite Sellers." Of course, my "100 Favorite Sellers" are all sellers who sell fake autograph items. And I just noticed that once again Ebay has allowed seller "Savant01" to continue selling his fakes. he just listed more fakes including a horrible-looking Ken Griffey autographed bat (Ebay Item Number 220120343590). Ebay Seller "Savant01" has sold over 930 fake autograph items during his time on Ebay and he continues to sell his fakes. His items have never passed "Quick Opinion."

After checking for Albert Pujols forged items on Ebay, I discovered another seller who is selling very questionable autograph items. Items like a LeBron James autographed floorboard (Ebay Item Number 190103719116) that he is selling for only $99.00 or "Best Offer." As we all know, LeBron James fake autograph items have quadrupled on Ebay since the Cavs got to the semi-finals and now the finals. Of course, Ebay loves it since it means more profits (from the sales of fake autograph items) for them. I also noticed that Ebay Seller "ans_autographs" is now selling fake autograph items of entertainment personalities like Bruce Springsteen. Yes, folks, they are forgeries, too.

GUys -

Take a look at the items from this seller:

aimgauctions

He has two PSA items, and the rest are from GAI. Look closeley at the GAI approved items - all but one are garbage. Seller claims that he gets his supply from Albert's best friend, and includes a yearvook photo. I know who this person is, and several sellers in the STL area think he is a fraud...also, apparently he has been banned from Game Used Forum under several user names. This is proof to me that GAI is passing items in bulk for monetary purposes, and not for the greater good of the hobby.

Let's hear what you think.

Bob - The negative comments were getting so bad in this forum that legal ramifications were ineveitable. If you post something, I would suggest being professional. This forum is about exposing bad autographs on eBay...

I'll be writing a lot more later, but I wanted to comment to Bigtruck's comment and the GAI Authenticated auctions from Ebay Seller "Aimgauctions." First of all, the seller does have one legitimate PSA Authenticated Albert Pujols autographed baseball and it is a true Albert Pujols autographed baseball. Then there's the very questionable GAI Authenticated autograph items which in one word are "junk." Who over there at Global authenticated that "junk?" The problem is that the collectibles industry is so huge that companies like Ebay and Global are taking advantage of it. With Ebay it's very simply, in the fact that they assume no responsibility for the fraudulent sellers on their website, but they are more than happy to accept the monetary fees connected with all of those fraudulent autograph items. And Global, well I've never been a fan of Global since a few years ago when I observed on Ebay numerous Derek Jeter GIA Authenticated autographs that weren't close to Derek's autograph. I will have more to write later tonight.....

In response to this incorrect opinion...I will respond. First of all, I am not claiming i received anything from Albert's best friend. I have batting gloves that Albert's Best friend in high school originally sold to my buddy and wrote an loa for.

The rest of my pujols stuff however.....I absolutely did not claim such a thing. However, I will make one guarantee. The pujols family foundation or anyone else can show the items I am selling to albert pujols himself and he will know they are genuine and were signed by him. I know this becasue I know where most of my signatures came from. i have 2 or 3 things on there I bought off of ebay last season and that GAI authenticated....the rest of it came from a rock solid source. i will go against anyone when it comes to the Pujols autos I have aquired....and there are many more in my posession.

MY REPLY:

In my opinion, "junk" is a fake autograph. These autographs are not fake. I am so positive about the authenticity of my pujols autos and my "source" is so good, that I am 10000% for sure these autographs were hand signed by Albert Pujols.

As far as dealers in St. Louis saying I am a "fraud", what a joke that is. I would love to hear who is saying that? I am assuming it is because those people are jealous that I have Pujols autographs in quantity and don't believe that is possible. I can see why people would think that. However, those people obviously do not know who my source was. Albert signed autographs in quantity for several people before his UDA deal....I just happen to be close to one of those people. So be very careful what you say is fake and who you say is a fraud because I am positive Albert remembers signing this stuff and knows who he signed it for, and I have about 80 more Albert Pujols signatures in my collection from the same source. My source is just as good as UDA, etc.

I find it very funny that "Christopher" and "Big Truck" think they are Pujols experts but are unable to pick out my Pujols signed items as being genuine. Since I know they are real and would submit to any investigation regarding them and my source, I think it is a joke that those 2 clowns are actually trying to authenticate Pujols signatures. They obviously have not seen too many post-2006 W.S. signatures.

Lastly, I am banned from the game Used universe site for one reason.......standing up for myself.

I aquired a set of game used jerseys including a Tery Bradshaw and a Roger Staubach. people accused me of having fake jerseys on that site. However, after Lampson and MEARS passed the jerseys with flying colors, I had $20,000+ in my pocket.

The same thing happened with a 2003 Albert Pujols road jersey. Self appointed Pujols game used authentication "expert" Rob Steinmetz and others on the site tried to say my jersey was bogus. In addition, Ron Steinmetz denied being the seller of the jersey too, (while my source said he bought it from rob) which means maybe Rob though he sold a bad jersey or did not aquire it professionally? Who knows? Anyway...i got into it with people on that forum because they were trying to pick a fight and call me a fraud. So what did I do? I called my friend who was able to have albert examine the jersey. After albert looked at some of the writing he had put on the jersey and the tag that was removed, he said it was his and signed it.

So basically, i was banned for sticking up for myself and proving that my stuff was good and for not revealing to the moderators stuff that was said about their bidding habits by an auction house.

For your information guys Ebay seller "Realgridiron" has changed their Ebay ID to "perch7i2." She is also using the name "perch712" on here. She is seller with all of those fake autographed Muhammed Ali boxing gloves (Item Number 260127488342).

For the "bad guys" that post in here, none of us that expose you "bad sellers" have ever revealed our Ebay ID nor do we use this forum to sell our items. As a matter of fact, I am more of a buyer than a seller by far. But more importantly, we are here to expose the "bad sellers" on Ebay who sell forgeries. Plain and simple. We are sick and tired of you "bad sellers." You give the collectibles a bad name and you hurt the legitimate sellers by selling your cheap, forged autograph items. Selling forgereis is fraud. Fraud is a crime. For some reason it is allowed on Ebay, but it is still fraud and it is still a crime. There is no gray area, it is black and white.

I also noticed that Ebay has once again allowed Ebay Seller "2004senod2004" to continue selling his fakes.

Thanks for the rebuttal. I find it kind of interesting that of all that stuff you have up on eBay, none of it is really selling at market value. People are finally starting to figure out that GAI is passing items that are questionable.

As far as Rob Steinmetz goes, most high end collectors would buy items from him that are not even authenticated simply because of his stellar reputation in the business. Anyone who looks at those sigs you have can see that they are off -

I'll give you this: you have a source who thinks your sigs are real at GAI. And regardless of what I think, you are correct - I am not an expert.

Your credibility suffers because you have dissolved realationships with the biggest names in STL collecting. If someone would have stood up for you - maybe my posts would be more positive.

You have said your peace, and I have said mine. Good luck selling your GAI authenticated items.

Bigtruck.....my email address is deronwilliams8@hotmail.com. I ask you kindly to email me and we can discuss the items from there. I will provide my phone number or you can provide yours and we will go from there. I will be more than happy to give you some background on this stuff.

as far as the items selling below market value.....have you been watching ebay recently? 2 psa/dna pujols 11x14 photos both sold for 110 and 85 I think it was. A JSA authenticated and slabbed card sold for $55. Steiner baseballs have sold as low as $165. Look at those prices compared to what my stuff is selling for (the GAI stuff) and its not that far off. Let me tell you this....if you take the chance to discuss with me where I got this Pujols stuff, you would be a believer. Secondly...I was recently in a St. Louis card shop and saw 3 signatures that the Pujols Family Foundation director brought into the store. I bet you would say 2 of 3 are fake because 2 of them match the newer style sigs i have some of on ebay. PSa and JSa would fail them too. But Albert signed them for the foundation director so obviously they are real. email me---deronwilliams8@hotmail.com. If you still think my stuff is fake after we apeak, I will be shocked.

I just sold a Pujols ball from his foundation for $350 - that is market value. People are realizing that Steiner and Mounted sigs may be authentic - but they are horrible.

I am not emailing anyone - I have already given you my opinion and I will not beat it to death. The market for Pujols itmes by authenicators in general is down (PSA, JSA and GAI) - people are beginning to lose faith in opinions from these companies.

Albert's scribble sig is not as desirable now that folks have seen his new sig (Which David A. seems to have plenty of). The market is there for items with genuine authenticity and a quality sig.

The PSA photos that you refer to were inkjet non-mint photos that looked like they had lines in them from the printer - do a completed items search.

David - you and I already spoke once...remember? You told me all about your authenticity and how everyone in STL was wrong except for you. They were all jealous.

Fine.

I am accepting what you do as legit because you have used a third party to authenticate your items...but I can still have my opinion of that particular company.

The market for quality Pujols signatures from UDA or the Old Foundation products is there. People have confidence in them. That is why UDA can sell a signed photo for $800 and your photo sold for $100. That's a pretty good margin.

But, if you are comfortable with that - fine.

As far as Crystal - never heard from her after her fiasco.

Ebay Item Number 200117295605, which was rejected by "Quick Opinion" on June 13th, 2007, just four days ago, was allowed by Ebay to be sold to the winning bidder. The seller of that fake autograph item and many items, is, of course, Ebay Seller "candace123," who is the seller of many fake autograph items on Ebay. Just this week alone, three of his autograph items that I submitted to "Quick Opinion" were rejected. His items have never passed "Quick Opinion." But Ebay like sellers like that because whether his items are fake or not, he makes Ebay a lot in fees. You see Ebay is getting sick of me submitting "Quick Opinions," because every time I do it costs Ebay money. This week also, three autograph items from Ebay Seller "vick7-vick7" failed "Quick Opinion" and yet they are allowed to continue selling. Ebay seller "Realgridiron" who just changed their Ebay ID to "perch7i2" is allowed to continue selling and they just sold three Muhammed Ali fake autographed boxing gloves for $220.00 and more. Notice how sellers like "candace123" and "perch7i2" keep their auctions as "Private Auctions." Well they don't collectors like us warning the bidders that they are bidding on fakes. Ebay must abolish that "private listing" bullcrap. But then again, why would they do that, when they won't even flush their website of the fake autograph sellers. How about the situation with Ebay seller "Yeahandstuff." Their obvious forgery of a signed Derek Jeter autographed baseball was rejected by "Quick Opinion" and Ebay removed it. Within a few hours, seller "Yeahandstuff" relisted that forgery and Ebay allowed it to run. What's the deal with that, Ebay? Why doesn't Ebay work with us as opposed to working against us? Is it all about fees and stock price? How many hundreds of thousands of dollars or millions of dollars has Ebay made from the sales of fake autograph items? Think about that staggering amount of money!

check out the items from "jwbraiders" look at his feedback to see what kind of prices his signed 8x10s have sold for.. kobe & lebron photos sold for like $20 each.. that just screams FAKE. also, read his item descriptions. some of these sellers crack me up with their items being "100% authentic".

At 2:51 AM , Blogger Christopher said...

Hey-J-Man, Ebay seller "jwbraiders" should have been on that list above. They, too, was one of the first Ebay Sellers I investigated when I initiated my findings over two years ago. And yet Ebay allows them to continue to sell.

Another point I wanted to make is the "Power Seller" status that many of the "bad sellers" have listed next to their Ebay ID. Don't be too impressed by that "Power Seller" status. I could sell 500 boxes of toothpicks every month for three months I will achieve "Power Seller" status. Big deal. Ebay Seller "candace123" sells fake autograph items and yet he is a so-called "Power Seller." And speaking of Ebay Seller "candace123" notice that he also sells autograph items that come with a COA from that "Authentic-Graph" group down in Maryland. Just how big is that ring down there in Maryland? Ebay seller "magic*moments*" has "Power Seller" status and yet I've proved through "Quick Opinion" that they (a hobby store) were selling fake autograph items. Ebay Seller "onlinesportsnmore" was a "Power Seller" and yet he sold fake autograph items. So please, don't be impressed by the "Power Seller" status. Ebay Seller "vick7-vick7" has "Power Seller" status and yet last week all three of their autograph items that I submitted to "Quick Opinion" were all rejected. Interesting isn't it?

At 3:26 PM , Blogger Christopher said...

Ebay Seller "perch7i2" just listed 23 more fake autograph items including three more fake autographed Muhammed Ali boxing gloves, plus a really badly forged autographed baseball of Albert Pujols (Ebay Item Number 260130294761). Selling forgeries for money is fraud. Fraud is a crime. People have gone to jail for activity like this.

I wanted to let the foum know something...

WHen an item is authenitcated by a major authentication company (not a forensics examiner), if the item in question is called into question, it is usually the authentication company that is being complained about.

Also, check out a new book that just comae out called THE CARD. It tells of the history of the T206 Wagner Gretzky card...and the crazy amount of crap that it has attached to it. Can you say ALTERED?

I find it quite curious that all of a sudden Ebay removed all of the GAI Authenticated auctions that were listed by Ebay seller "aimgauctions." And please make no mistake about it, those GAI Authenticated autograph items were removed by Ebay. I was keeping a "Watch" on a few of those GAI Autograph Auctions from seller "aimgauctions" so I do know they were removed and not cancelled by the seller. Many of us for years have questioned many of the GAI Authenicated items. In my case it was Derek Jeter autograph items and in Bigtruck's case it was Albert Pujols autograph items.

At 4:51 PM , Blogger Christopher said...

Over the years that I've been doing my investigation of the fake autograph memorabilia industry, I've encountered many Ebay Sellers who have literally sold thousands of fake autograph items on Ebay. During the last two weeks (just like years ago) Ebay Seller "candace123" autograph items have never passed "Quick Opinion." Last week I submitted three to "Quick Opinion" and all three were rejected. Ebay removes all of his items okay. So how does Ebay penalize a seller who has sold thousands of fake autograph items? Ebay allows him (just today) to list his few legitimate autograph items. It just proves that it's all about the money.

Once again we good guys are the target. I have documentation that goes back 2 1/2 to 3 years ago. I keep records of everything, every Ebay ID, etc. Come on, BB; tell us what your Ebay ID is/was so I can fill you in (and the rest of the blog) on the type of items you sold. Were you one of those Ebay Sellers who got booted off Ebay and went to Yahoo to sell your autograph items? Were one of those sellers who sold thousands of autograph items without having any contact with any athletes? Let us know, BB. Let us know your inventory of autographed memorabilia. I will not back down. Those that sell fake autograph items are the people that should be hit with a lawsuit and jailed. Selling fake autograph items in exchange for money is fraud. You sellers of fake autograph items think you can hide behind Ebay. The majority of Ebay buyers think that just because a autograph item is on Ebay that it must be authentic. Well nothing could be further from the truth. Unfortunately, Ebay is a hot bed for sales of fake autograph items. There are buyers who know they are buying cheap fake autograph items. After they purchase the cheap, fake autograph items, many times they sell them locally for 3-4 times their purchase price. Then if they get caught selling those fakes they blame it on the seller they bought it from. You sell a fake, then you suffer the consequences if you're caught. The truth is, too, is that Ebay is not all to blame for this mess. What is wrong with the buyers of this garbage? What has happened to common sense? For collectors like myself, Bigtruck and others, it is obvious when seller's are selling forgeries. Example: I would like selelr "perch7i2" to tell us how she was able to acquire seven (7) Muhammed Ali autographed boxing gloves? Collectors bought her garbage for between $220.00 and $250.00. A true Muhammed Ali UDA autographed boxing glove sells for over $1,000.00. BY the way, I will be doing a You Tube video on this stuff. I have already scripted it. When it is finally posted I will announce it here. By the way, BB, if you're so sure about your autograph items then let us know who you are? Don't hide like the majority of "bad sellers" do. If you're legit tell us who you are. You write "It is time someone stood up to you." No, it's time that we stood up to the "bad sellers." I've been doing it for almsot three years despite threatening emails, etc. Are we suppose to back off, BB?

JHey, J-Man, you'll be interested in this item from Ebay Seller "2004senod2004." Check out Item Number "300123263232." Ebay continues to allow this seller ("2004senod2004") to sell his fake autograph items.
