Fake Dwayne Wade Jersey

This jersey is being offered by kdsports444 on eBay:

1. Beware of people making their own holograms who don't contract with athletes. This seller has their own hologram to make items look more authentic.

2. To the best of our knowlege, Wade has an exclusive with Rich Altman and all items come with the Wade Hologram.

3. Here is a picture of a real Wade autograph:

4. The seller mentions that Wade "must have been in a hurry" when he signed this jersey.

Remember to look at who the hologram comes from when buying any piece of autographed sports memorabilia

Jerry Rice To Denver

We have heard from our sources that it is very likely that Jerry Rice will confirm his move to the Denver Broncos by today or tomorrow. It seems that Rice will fit in nicely with Denver and that he will get playing time -- a thing he was promised and denied by the Raiders and Seahawks.

Jerry can still play and he is in amazing shape. This will be a chance to prove that he still has the ability to compete in the NFL.

It will also be great for the sports memorabilia industry as Bronco fans are big-time sports memorabilia collectors.

Watch the news, then go to ALLAuthentic.com Sports Memorabilia & Equipment to be the first to get Broncos Jerry Rice merchandise!

Albert Pujols Likely Not Genuine

Here is another item that PSA-DNA has determined to be "Likely Not Genuine". An Albert Pujols "signed" baseball being sold by authentic-graph2 on eBay who also goes under the name authentic-graph.

1. COA is from Online Sports Autographs, an unknown company.

2. eBay sellers who sell fake autographs often have different aliases on eBay.

Fake Derek Jeter Signed Bat

This Derek Jeter bat below was determined "Likely Not Genuine" by PSA-DNA:

The auction, by USA4NATE, came with a picture of Jeter signing too:

1. Notice how Jeter is using a blue sharpie in the picture, but the bat you are getting is signed in black.

2. Jeter signs for Steiner Sports exclusively and there is no Steiner authentication present with this bat.

3. The bat that Jeter is signing in the picture is not even the same bat.

To be fair, we take pictures at our sports memorabilia shows and when we give pictures to our customers they know that they are not getting a picture of the athlete signing their exact item.

However, we have other ways to prove the signing besides a picture. This is just proof that a picture of the athlete signing does not make the signature authentic.

Tiger Woods Autograph Likely Not Genuine

This seller, usa4nate, was selling this "autographed" Tiger Woods Masters Flag on eBay and it went for over $200.

1. PSA-DNA looked at this on their Quick Opinon and graded it "Likely Not Genuine"

2. Notice the picture of Tiger at the golf course which looks like he is signing a yellow flag. The seller uses this to prove that the autograph is real.

3. It is very possible that this flag was signed by Tiger and the seller took a picture of him signing it. However, there is no guarantee that this is the flag you are getting. The seller could have got one flag signed (because I can guarantee you Tiger won't sit there at a golf tournament and sign several of these) -- then turn around and produce a lot more using the same picture as "proof".

4. Upper Deck, who has the EXCLUSIVE with Tiger, sells these flags for $1199.

5. Note that this seller has been removed from eBay and is no longer a registered user.

Questionable Michael Jordan Autograph

This is an item offered by steelerman78 on eBay and it is very questionable:

1. It is not authenticated by Upper Deck who owns the rights to Jordan's signatures.

2. The seller's other items are extremely questionable. They have every player under the sun at very cheap prices. UPDATE: since the posting of this article it appears that the seller is only selling PSA-DNA and other reputable items. Please verify.

3. The COA comes from their own company and they are NOT a recognized autograph company.

4. The signature does not look like a Jordan autograph.

We have received several emails about this seller from our readers.

As always, if the seller has proof of where and when this autograph was signed they can always comment on this blog.
