Anyone that knows how to use Google would realize that Mickey Mantle died on August 13, 1995. Notice how the COA the seller lists in the auction reads that the ball was signed on July 12, 1997. These sellers are putting these items on eBay with the assumption that YOU (the consumer) are a total IDIOT! Don't let them fool you.

George W. Bush Autograph Likely Not Genuine

This George W. Bush autograph was determined to be "Likely Not Genuine" by PSA-DNA's Quick Opinion. If you look at the auction, the seller doesn't even really give too much of an explanation on how the ball was obtained. Considering an autograph from the President would be VERY hard to get.

Instant Replay In Baseball?

I think Mark Starr's article about the need of instant replay in baseball is right on the money. Umpires are only human and they make mistakes. Big games (or any games) should not be decided on bad calls.

I think the NBA really needs instant replay because as a whole, I have never seen so many bad calls in any professional sport.

Even the NFL has instant replay and their officials are probably the best in professional sports.

Bottom line is that no one can make all of the correct calls and they need help. Give it to them with modern technology so the fans know that if their team loses if wasn't because of a bad call.

Here is a Ty Cobb autograph that has been determined Likely Not Genuine by PSA-DNA.

The sad thing is that someone has a $580 bid on it.

The seller is stating that Charles Hamilton authenticated it. Are they talking about the author of Great Forgers and Famous Fakes?
