Walter Payton Signed Jersey w PSA-DNA?
One of our readers sent us this auction. It has a COA from All American Memorabilia -- does anyone know if they sell authentic autographs? This Walter Payton jersey appears to come with PSA-DNA Authentication, however this is is a PSA letter id from an auction and not PSA-DNA authentication.
The autograph does not look like Payton's and checkout the "Sweetness" inscription, it looks horrible. You can see the auction here.

Jeter Autographed Ball? How Do You Tell?
We are not Jeter experts but this signature looks pretty close. However it comes with no authentication from Steiner and the seller claims that he gets some autographs in person. This looks too clean to be in person, however I guess it could have been signed in person?
What do you think about Jeter signed items that don't come with Steiner Certificates?
Here is the auction:

Brett Favre Fake Autograph Bust
Michael Van Lanen, who owned All Sports Marketing in Ashwaubenon, was sentenced Thursday to six months in the county jail and serve 100 hours of community service. In addition, he'll spend four years on probation. This was for selling fake Brett Favre autographs.
From what I have read, it says the State Justice Department is the one who did the bust. If they can bust a guy like this, why don't they get known fake dealers that sell on eBay? Since the FBI doesn't do much regarding fake autographs any more, maybe the State Justice Department is the correct agency to handle forgeries?
Does anyone know how the State got involved with this case?
