Best Flat Irons and Hair Straighteners of 2007

CurlytoStraight.com announces the very best 2007 hair straighteners.

The criteria used to decide on this "Best Of" list are; product features, reliability, user reviews and customer support. The following review will not talk about all of the classes of hair straighteners or flat irons available. Only higher quality products were examined and costs were not considered.

The following reviews are only based on product quality, user feed back and features. This will not consider cost.

1) The FHI Runway Series - This line of straightener is easily the very best available. It offers each and every cutting edge feature; 450F max temp, adjustable heat, revolutionary heating plates, damp-or-dry styling, lightening fast heat time and the most consistent plate heating of any product available on the market. The Runway models also have the best consumer feed back of each the products we reviewed. If you want the best hair straighteners on the market this is most certainly it, and it will cost you. These Irons usually about $400.

Are the FHI Runway models really worth it? Yes, if you can afford it.

2) The FHI Platform Series - As a pioneer in the evolution of ceramic plating and tourmaline integration, The Platform series offers consumers a premium hair straightener at a much more affordable price. Available to buy in varied sizes, the FHI Platform series provides PTFC ceramic heat plates, adjustable temperature, 450F max heat and ultra flash heat times. While these items are more affordable than the FHI Runway series, they are still on the pricey side at around $150 - $200.

3) CHI Pink Series - The popular pink hair straightener provides the finest reliability and performance of any straightener in the Farouk CHI product line. Ceramic plates, flash heat times, and temperature control combined with a comfortably and ergonomically designed handle make the CHI hair straightener an attractive option for anybody that wants to get the most out of their hair.

4) T3 Wet-or-Dry - This flat iron actually ranked above the CHI Pink series as far as product features, but it fell to the fourth space due to the fact that consumers have struggled with warranty returns. Other than that, the T3 Wet-or-Dry offers consumers a sturdy ceramic design.

5) CHI Turbo Series - The Turbo series takes fifth place in our 2007 hair straightener review. This line of hair straighteners is used by more hair professionals than any other model. And even though its maximum temperature and flash heating do not match the CHI Pink, the CHI Turbo series is a wonderful choice for those that want outstanding reliability and performance.

Honorable Mention

Even though our 2007 review of straighteners features the cream of the crop, there are many other first rate, professionally designed straighteners and flat irons on the market today. The following are a few:

GHD Hair Straighteners - An excellent product with a sleek design that incorporates an assortment of progressive features makes the GHD hair straighteners a superior choice.

HAI Hair Straightener|Flat Iron - HAI hair straighteners have two quality choices at lower prices; the Nu Stik and the Convertible.

FHI Flat Iron|Hair Straightener - The FHI Technique series features best in Class products for the more traditional models. The FHI ceramic flat iron is a high quality product with a number of of the new millennium technologies.

*One of the more well known models on the market today, the sedu hair straighteners, wasn't reviewed because of the exclusive, non-competitive internet distribution agreement and what seems to be misleading sales practices.
